Next, Yan, a globally-acclaimed performer of Ludwig van Beethoven, will enchant audiences with two works from the pen of the legendary composer, starting with the 6 Variations on an Original Theme, Op. 34, which will be followed by the 7 Variations on 'Kind, willst du ruhig schlafen', WoO 75. After a brief interval, the pianist shall then return with Antonรญn Dvoล™รกkโ€™s Silhouettes, Op. 8, a piano cycle consisting of 12 silhouettes that was composed in 1879. Finally, Yan will turn to Beethoven once again to close off the concert, as he engages in an interpretation of the Piano Sonata No. 32 in C minor, Op. 111, the last of the great composerโ€™s famed piano sonatas.
