From grand opera and symphonic brilliance to timeless ballet, these opening titles set the tone for a season defined by excellence, ambition, and cultural depth.
The season opens with the return of Puccini’s La Bohème, one of the most beloved works in the operatic canon. Presented by the renowned Hungarian State Opera, this long-awaited revival marks the opera’s first appearance at Dubai Opera since 2017. Running from 18 to 20 September, this emotionally charged production promises an unforgettable experience for opera lovers and newcomers alike.
On 21 September, Beethoven’s The Fifths takes center stage with a rare pairing of two of the composer’s most iconic masterpieces: Symphony No. 5 and the Piano Concerto No. 5 “Emperor”. This one-night-only celebration of Beethoven’s genius offers a sweeping journey through drama, power, and musical transcendence.
From 25 to 28 September, Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake returns in a breathtaking production by the Hungarian National Ballet, following its sold-out run at Dubai Opera in 2023. With its poetic choreography and unforgettable score, this timeless ballet continues to enchant audiences of all ages.
