Symphonic Orchestra Concert

Presented by Dubai Opera in collaboration with Art Seasons.

Witness a landmark moment in Dubai’s cultural calendar as the legendary Bolshoi Theatre Orchestra performs at the Dubai Opera for the very first time on December 3, 2026. This historic debut brings one of the world’s most revered orchestral ensembles to the UAE, offering audiences a rare opportunity to experience its signature sound live on the Dubai Opera stage.

The Bolshoi Theatre Orchestra, the oldest musical ensemble in Russia, is internationally recognized as one of the world’s top symphony orchestras. It was founded 250 years ago, in 1776, when the company of the future Bolshoi Theatre was formed. Today, the Bolshoi Theatre Orchestra consists of more than 300 musicians, who also often perform as soloists and as members of ensembles in concert halls in Russia and abroad. Among its musicians are laureates and prizewinners of international competitions, as well as Honored Artists and People’s Artists of Russia. The Bolshoi Theatre Orchestra is widely renowned for its masterful renditions of any symphonic repertoire, from the 18th century to the latest creations.

The Bolshoi Theatre is led by People's Artist of Russia Valery Gergiev — an outstanding conductor of international renown, under whose direction great opera and ballet productions and large-scale symphony concerts are staged at the Bolshoi Theatre.
