Amer Zahr is a Palestinian-American comedian, writer and Law Professor known for his bold humor and powerful commentary on Arab identity, politics, and life in the diaspora.

Born in the U.S. to Palestinian refugee parents, Amer uses his stand-up to challenge stereotypes and elevate Arab voices through laughter. His comedy blends cultural insight with sharp wit, drawing on his experiences growing up between two worlds. He’s also the founder of the 1001 Laughs Comedy Festival and has been a vocal advocate for Palestinian rights and representation in mainstream media.

In his latest show, "Arab Gossip," Zahr dives into the hilarious and often brutally honest world of Arab family life, community drama, and cultural quirks. The show is a humorous exploration of how gossip travels faster than Wi-Fi in Arab households, where everyone knows everything - sometimes even before it happens!
