This special performance also honours the 270th anniversary of the birth of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, whose enduring genius continues to captivate audiences worldwide.

Based on Mozart’s beloved opera, the ballet features a libretto by Viktor Yaremenko and Yuri Stanishevsky, with a specially created musical edition and composition by Oleksiy Baklan. Through expressive choreography and evocative storytelling, this acclaimed production transforms one of opera’s greatest comic masterpieces into a captivating ballet experience.

Within the elegant halls and moonlit gardens of Count Almaviva’s estate, Figaro and Susanna’s joyful plans to marry are threatened by the Count’s relentless pursuit of the bride-to-be. As disguises, mistaken identities and unexpected revelations unfold, a delightful world of romance, humour, and intrigue emerges, culminating in a triumphant celebration of love, forgiveness, and new beginnings.
