In what is set to be their last appearance at the 2025 InClassica International Music Festival, the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, performing under their Chief Conductor Andrea Battistoni, shall be taking to the stage of Dubai Opera once more on Thursday 17th April, presenting a symphonic concert that is being organised by SAMIT Event Group. For this special occasion, the ensemble will be joined by the eminent French cellist Gautier Capuçon, hailed as one of the biggest 21st century ambassadors for his storied instrument. A household name in his native France, Capucon is a multiple award winner, famed for his expressive musicianship and exuberant virtuosity. Performing with world leading orchestras and conductors each season, he is also renowned for his extensive discography recorded exclusively for Erato, which features major concerto and chamber music literature, and has been the recipient of multiple international prizes and awards.
